Barbara DiNucci Hendrickson, 1932-2015: US Artist who loved Capracotta

Barbara loved her visits to Capracotta.  We went first in 1991, and she was brought to tears when a herd of sheep on the road stopped our car at a perfect vantage point about 1 KM from the town.  The town looked like the descriptions her mother and father had given her all her life.  At that time, we had only a little Italian, but the people we met were overwhelmingly friendly and helpful.   Chris Hendrickson, Barbara’s husband.
